There are several brands of e-bikes out there but most of them fall short of what their manufacturer advertise. So often disillusion sets in upon receiving the bike, where it’s not as big as we expected or as dependable as we believed. But the H7 by PHILODO fails to disappoint and surely surpasses some major brand names.
The PHILODO H7 is a monster of an e-bike experience. It has 26-inch fat tires with solid aluminum alloy components and a reliable battery with a 1000W brushless motor that can take you wherever you want to go. PHILODO’s electric bikes are notorious for blending traditional bicycle styles with modern tech to produce a high-quality and earth-friendly bike to make life easier and more fun. These are cost-effective and designed with everyone in mind.
Although the H7 is very promising in what it delivers, there are a few items with which to contend. Please continue reading to see if this e-bike is going to be right for you and your purposes.
Is the PHILODO H7 Electric Bike for You?
If you’re over 18, weigh under 330 lbs, and can easily lift 70 lbs, the PHILODO H7 Electric Bike is perfect for you! You can traverse the urban jungle or venture through the picturesque countryside. While it is a little pricier than some e-bikes, the cost is worth it due to how heavy-duty and reliable it is. Anyone can use it on the beach, in the woods, and over rural terrain. It works great through the winter as well as in the sweltering heat of summer. Commuting to work or school as well as running daily errands are all within the realm of possibility.
What We Like About PHILODO H7 Electric Bike
One of the best things about the PHILODO H7 Electric Bike is how easy it is to assemble. But it also has good power along with a fantastic PAS system and decent front suspension. Other great features perform well too like cruise control, rear rack, phone holder, and properly fit fenders. You can tell, the engineering is high quality.
Also, it actually does what the manufacturer promotes. This includes reaching speeds of up to 30 mph and being an actual full-sized bike. Like most other types of e-bikes, they tend to be smaller than desirable because of shipping costs. But not this one, it’s full and weighty, which gives peace of mind.
What We Don’t Like About PHILODO H7 Electric Bike
Unfortunately, the PHILODO H7 Electric Bike has a few undesirable aspects that prospective buyers should know. While the brakes are good quality and they don’t comprise cheap materials, they are not strong enough and it’s difficult to stop because of how the fat tires are. So, it may be tricky to do quick stops during rush hour or to control speed down steep declines.
That said, some of the materials for certain components are cheap and of poor quality. The horn and lights are flimsy, although they do operate fine. The derailers are weak because of poor materials and it can be frustrating to find the correct sprocket. However, there’s always a gear that fits with the PAS speed. Even still, it makes for a sloppy response time when driving on the road.

Final Breakdown
Overall Score: 8 out of 10
The PHILODO H7 Electric Bike is a great, reliable, and bulky e-bike that provides a smooth and safe ride through all kinds of terrain. It’s better than most others available, even brand-name ones. But, the reason why it gets an eight rather than a nine or ten is due to certain questionable components.
This mainly involves how the brakes aren’t strong enough for the big fat tires along with poor theft-deterrent features. The seat also leaves much to desire as well as the fact that the range isn’t as wide as what’s advertised. Even still, this is a fine bike that’s good for commuting or leisure and its design lends itself to be easy enough for anyone to use.
